I'm Gabby Rose and I'm starting this blog as a way to document my fitness/weight loss journey. I know there are tons of blogs like this out there - but I figure there's lots of people out there too, so maybe some of you will find this helpful?
I've always been active and actually love to exercise. However, I also LOVE to eat. As a kid, apparently the only punishment that would send me into a puddle of tears was the threat to take away my dessert. I love to eat. I always have, and I always will. And I'm coming around to the fact that that's OK. It's OK to enjoy food but it just needs to be done in moderation.
Ever since I realized that being able to pack away lumber jack portions isn't something to necessarily be proud of, I falsely lived by the idea that as long as I exercised I could keep eating whatever I wanted. That mentality barely got me through my high school and college years but it's definitely not working now.
My goal with this blog is to document my process, find accountability, and hopefully encourage some of you out there to make those healthy choices. Will you join me?
