I failed to schedule my workouts this weekend and thus, they haven't happened. Yesterday morning I decorated for the Thanksgiving dinner at my church. When I got home, my husband and I had a serious chat most of the afternoon about some important things, so by the end I was drained and not really feeling a workout. I figured I would take yesterday as a rest/recovery day and run this morning... buuut then I didn't wake up in time. We're going to be busy most of the day so it might be another late night run for us. Does anyone else find it hard to get back into the swing of things after being sick?
The dinner at my church went really well. The centerpieces were flower arrangements in pumpkins! They were pretty awesome. If you're looking for a florist in the Los Angeles area, I highly recommend Fanny's Flowers. And of course, I ate way too much. Which is funny because I don't even really like Thanksgiving food. If I had two meals in front of me: A McDonald's cheeseburger and fries or a plate of turkey and all the fixin's I'd totally pick the McD's. Is that scandalous or what? Thankfully we're spending real Thanksgiving with my in-laws and my mother-in-law is a notoriously healthy cook (no salt in her kitchen!)
