Vegetarian Turkey Legs

Yesterday was kind of crazy getting back to having a job and responsibilities, and blah, blah, blah. Being sick sucks 'cuz when you're finally feeling better you suddenly have all this stuff to do that didn't get done when you didn't do it. So all that to say, I didn't get a chance to blog.

I didn't work out because even though I was feeling loads better, I still wasn't 100% and didn't want to overdo it. I did however start this awesome craft for a Thanksgiving Dinner at my church tomorrow.

It's a turkey leg...filled with popcorn! I'm in charge of the decorations and decided yesterday that a turkey leg at each of the 100 place settings was a good idea.

They're really easy to make - I followed this tutorial. She shows you how to make the rest of the turkey too, using a grocery bag, but I just stuck with the lunch sack turkey leg. It is super simple and goes fast though. (Ok in all honesty - I've only made the one so far, buuut I'm sure it's going to go fast... I also mentor a group of 10th grade girls who love to do my crafts for me who will be helping tomorrow)

This morning I taught my first class since being sick.  I was a little worried but I felt decent. I was also excited to wear my new 26.2 Apparel tank that I got on sale for $15! SkinnyRunner mentioned the sale on her blog and raved about the tank so I wanted to try it.  I love it already! The fabric is great and very moisture wicking. It's fitted but not, suck it in, tight. It's also on the longer side which I really appreciate when teaching a cycling class and bending over in front of a ton of people and huge mirror. I'm looking forward to running in it since I hate when shorter tanks do that slow creep up over my midriff. I'm already contemplating getting a second one...

Any fun Thanksgiving crafts on the horizon? Extra points if they incorporate healthy snack options!
